Government of India recently unveiled the New Rupee Symbol to be used by their countrymen. Also a new font type has been released recently for using the symbol in computers. However, what we can do to send messages with this Indian New Rupee Symbol in Mobile Phones?
Such New Rupee Symbol has been introduced in Mobile Phones by LAVA Mobiles. In its latest release LAVA B5 last week, LAVA Mobiles has introduced a separate key to insert this New Rupee Symbol. When you press this key, you will get New Rupee Symbol as text. Henceforth, this mobile will be known as the first Mobile Phone to introduce the New Rupee Symbol.
The LAVA Mobiles sources tells us that they took this assignment as challenge and have finished it in a shorter time. It may be recalled that on the eve of Indian Independence Day, this mobile was released.
